Materials Manufactured from high tech materials Seago liferafts have proven their excellence under extreme conditions. Hull Material: State of the art material comprises 2 skins of high tech nylon enveloping a tough impermeable butyl rubber core. Canopy Material: A highly visible orange tearproof ripstop nylon fabric. Construction Bonded seams are generously overlapped to withstand extreme stress. The hull is manufactured with upper and lower tubes, that are independant and, are made in one unit, for added strength. The highly visible self erecting canopy is attached to the hull around its entire circumference giving greater protection to the interior. The inflatable arch is also attached to the hull by an airtight reinforced hinge to the upper chamber for added strength and becomes an integral part of the liferaft. Lead weighted water ballast is fitted as standard with a thermoinsulated floor providing the most efficient insulation available today.
